Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population (it is home to the huge African elephants) and the famous Baobab trees, you will be able to observe huge herds of elephants. This is also the center of an annual migration cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras.
Enjoy a day full of emotions. At the end of the day, we proceed to your lodge for dinner and rest.
After breakfast, we depart for the Mythical Serengeti National Park.
Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of Wild Africa - The Serengeti - with its endless plains, glimpsed on the horizon as far as the eye can see. We will visit the central area of the park, known as the Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the World, with the Seronera River providing a valuable source of water and therefore attracting many animals to this area, including all the large predators. Enjoy a day full of emotions. At the end of the day, we will proceed to your lodge for dinner and rest.
During Sunset and during the night...you will get a glimpse of the true and magnificent African Sky!
After breakfast, Game Drive and then departure for the Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stop at Olduvai Gorge, an area that dates back to the beginning of mankind. It was here that anthropologists discovered the skulls of the "Nutcracker Man" and the "Handy Man", both very significant in the chain of human evolution. We will arrive at the Ngorongoro viewpoint, where you can observe the splendorous landscape of the Crater.
We will then proceed to your accommodation for dinner and rest.
After an early breakfast, we will descend over 600 meters to the Ngorongoro Crater, considered the eighth Natural Wonder of the World.
Supported by a year-round supply of water and food, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a wide variety of animals including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, rhinos, and the famous giant African elephants. Another great attraction of this place is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever elusive leopard, which requires a very well-trained eye to spot. We will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake, where a large number of flamingos, hippos, and other waterfowl can be spotted.
In the afternoon drive back to Arusha for your drop off at the Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport for your flight to your other destination or back home.
